It looks to be all fiberglass stringers look to be replaced. Also stinky bilge trough has been opened up, cleaned, and a layer of mat wetted in. One thing I noticed is that on the top of the hard top the joint in the glass was not smoothed but just painted over. Is this factory or just poor workmanship?
what would be the easiest way to tell if it is glassed over wood boat?

I am almost positive it is an f series as the Hull looks to be solid glass and all topsides are balsa cored glassed over. Will look again see if maybe we missed something .locations should be as follows:
Fore or aft of hatch sills
Electric panel box in cockpit
head
Cabinets just aft of v berth
Or on stern
Did I miss any?
anyone close to Ms al line?

If there is a cupboard door under the helm wheel for access to wiring, look there. Trojan used to place a plaque in that location.

Looks a lot like my 72 30' Sea Raider. Fiberglass hull everything else wood, teak deck and mahog interior. My foredeck was replace with marine ply and glassed and painted. Cockpit deck still teak.....could the fiberglass seams on the cockpit overhead by from removing a flybridge?.....just a thought....John

Got a few pics uploaded, watch out for the rat. The boat on the trailer is a marionette. Got a pic of Hull thickness at a bad through hull.

Same boat different cockpit windshield, my whole window tilts out. It looks like just the bottom of that one tilts. Wish they had interior pics.

congratulations and welcome to the club. you certainly came to the right place for model identification and general knowledge on the trojan brand. as far as blessing or curse, that will have to be for you to decide. good luck with all of that.

Welcome to the forum, well a bigger photo would really help but here is my guess, which would make it a 1970 30 sea raider, with mods

I am Still sticking with F31 ( maybe a early F30 ) as the top side is glass . But I have yet to find another perfect match . still looking .
Then again here is another sea rader
http://boats.oodle.com/detail/1972-30-f ... -_-NA-_-NA
As I look again not a match (front window)

The sea raider interior is layed out differently. There seems to be more room with the current layout. That is one of the things I really like about the boat.
