I had disconnected mine when I re-did my water lines but never traced it back to the solenoid. Was installing my vhf today and saw it way up high over the dc panel. not a good choice to put it in my opinion. I can just imagine what a pin hole leak in the little supply line would do !

Somewhat related, I was on my boat the other night when we got about 4" of rain. One of washer nozzles was leaking and dripping on the floor. I re-bed them a couple of years ago but don't think I tightened it enough to compress the sealant. This time, I removed all three and the horn, over drilled and filled with epoxy.
The horn mounting screws could leak a long time before you would know, leaking into the core the whole time. I was glad I was on the boat to see the leak firsthand along with another one. It's tough to troubleshoot these after the fact sometimes.

That's why I removed my nozzles and glasses over the holes. good thing you saw the drip and fixed it.

OK this must be the three nozzles, they look like they haven't been aimed towards the windows in awhile i actually thought they were electrical connectors
