I also have a 1988 F-36 Convertible. I keep mine in Quincy, MA just south of Boston. Made it as far south as Cuttyhunk last summer. Do you have any pictures you can post? I also found the site while looking at boats in 2011. Good people and tons of great information. If you have to do something to your Trojan, somebody on this site has done it before.

Here are a few pics from the listing. The only "major" winter project I'm looking at is the bottom paint at the waterline is really pealing off and will need a complete scrape/sanding. The bottom is not bad, just a little sanding. The weather is so cold so early this year. I need to get this done before April 4th. It's going to be close...

Very nice , I see you don't have the lower helm . That opens up the boat IMO . I have had my F36 10 years and only used the lower helm 1 time .

You will enjoy that boat for sure .

Yes no lower helm is not really necessary with the full enclosure on the flybridge. It does open up a ton of room inside.

No lower station for me either, love running from the flybridge. Do you have a bunk room or a dinette?

Also, what marina in Mystic? I work for the railroad and go thru Mystic often. My wife and have talked about putting the boat in that area and taking the train back and forth for a month or so and exploring LI sound. Maybe even go into New York harbor.

Beautiful boat! We have the bunk room. I have 2 kids 10 & 12. Perfect for them, even though my son will usually sleep on the flybridge. Love the carpet in the interior. We have shag and my wife is already making plans....Was the tuna door factory?

We will be at Spicers Marina. Real nice place and reasonable price for the area. The train comes within 100 feet of the property, you could just jump at the right time....

Yeah, we kind of frown on jumping from moving trains and were going like 65 mph by there. I know that marina, I can see them moving boats around as we go past. The transom door was added on, but they did a nice job. Someone has a forum thread on here about putting one in if your interested you can do a search for it. Here is a picture we took in Cuttyhunk this summer. We have the bunk room as well, are kids are older so we mostly use it for storage. We prefer to sleep on the pull out in the salon.

I spent a few years in Spicers. Moved up river 23 years ago. Now in the marina just behind the Railroad station. Mystic Shipyard East. Seems as though I've seen your boat. Was it kept in Brewers in Mystic?

It was kept at Mystic River Marina. Just south of you. I just received the maintenance records a few days ago. There was no record of the exhaust risers being changed so that probably needs to be done.
