mikeandanne - I don't like you...
This is what my driveway looked like yesterday, after I tried to make it into the garage without stopping (I failed - got hung up 4 feet short!).
The left and right edges are where the tires were (obviously)... the messed up stuff in between is where undercarriage of my Mustang was working like a snow plow... the snow was about 4-6" deeper than my road clearance. Then I had the privilege of digging out. Enjoy FLA while you can... but we are doing what we can up here to send winter your way! Polar Vortex -- global phenomenon, or Canada's way of evening the playing field?!?!?

IMO it ain't never gonna happen again. This Winter in Texas sucks, sleet and ice today. Too cold to fix my battery tray so I can take boat to mech for engines install.

, Yeah I am a sissy when it comes to cold weather, bring on my Texas Summers.

Larry,
To borrow a line from my favorite possum lodge intellectual:
Keep your stick on the ice, we're all pulling for ya!

No pics but misery woe and misery, 16 degree and 1 inch of sleet last night. The day before 80 degrees.

Just to make you snow bound people feel better we down south are stuck inside for a whole couple of days. Oh well the Phoenix is getting two new engines, new water tanks, bottom and bilge cleaning.

Yes... that is a snowman
I was sure that being on the bow of a boat, that it was a snowwoman, and that the cameraman preserved her modesty by carefully positioning that running light...
It has snowed so much here in Maryland that I, gulp, bought a plastic snow shovel to keep on the boat.

Well believe it or not I had to use a scoop shovel on the deck of my boat about 3 years ago, guess what, it was way down south in Texas. That day we had 9 inches of snow. Aint supposed to happen that way.

Just turned Spring about 3 hours ago and 75 degree here, but nasty for the next 5 days.

However boat is getting two new hearts at mechanics.
