Yep, Prowler - Velvet's are indeed Borg Warner and I feel like a bonehead. :)

Finally took the boat out yesterday, for her maiden run with me at the controls and loved it. Quite responsive in slow handling compared to my Tricabin (which I always assumed to be responsive) and we eased over to the gas dock with no issues. Maybe the larger wheels and the fact that they're deeper - don't know.

Starting those 502"s is a blast - literally. I'm used to 350's.

Then we had a really nice run out into the lake for about and hour (wife behind the wheel) before bringing her back to her berth (which I will hopefully do a better of next time around). I don't know what I was expecting but I was very pleased. No issues to speak of yet. Even coffee maker is working :)

Spoke with another eleven meter owner who has been on this forum in the past, (his handle is Re: Trojan express) and he has had quite a bit of experience with his boat since 2012. Nice guy and willing to answer specific questions to the best of his ability.

Thinking that tomorrow we'll take her out for part of the day. Grandchildren birthdays and Mothers Day trips to the spa are taking my first mate away mid- afternoon.
