I used a teak cleaner and then about 3 coats of Teak oil

After all those pics I think I like the dark oiled look. Not sure I want the maitanence of oil though. Thanks for the imput.

You wont get one half a season out of oil

Nope, but I don't have much teak so it's no biggie to reapply oil once a month or so.

What do you mean by 'dark cetol' ? The link in my post shows Cetol Marine (regular) and Cetol Light (with Gloss over top) - pretty much every one except 'Cetol Marine Natural Teak'.

Yes I saw your post, it looks good. I thought there was a darker Cetol. Am I wrong? Is the natural dark?

Theirs Cetol marine, cetol natural, cetol light and cetol gloss, I have no experience with the cetol marine, The gloss would only be applied over the top of whatever shade you choose, 4 years later and no maintenance, left uncovered in the winter and all im still happy with the product Here is a direct comparison I took yesterday for you of 4 coats natural and a maybe 3 clear on the steps with a non skid added to the steps, and the cetol light on the gunwals

Thanks for taking the time to do that. Yours turned out good. Mine is in worse shape and has some varnish crap on it pealing off. Should be a fun project.
