Speaking of Teac cleaner, does anybody find that it really eats away the wood between the grain? I personally don't use it but have some spots between grain that are pretty low and have been told that it's due to the harsh teac cleaners.

I noticed on the teak that i did if i left it on to long it seemed to do that, but thought it was just the natural weathering of 30+ year old teak and was just getting it cleaned out real good, so I'm not sure if it does or not, glad somebody said something about it. haven't tried it on somewhat new teak.

Some of the older 2-part cleaners basically were acid and a neutralizer. I used some on my sailboat 20 years ago and it ate away at the grain like you are seeing.
