A BLESSING ON YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR NEW VESSEL.........MAZEL TOV!!!! what model year is this? she's a looker that's for sure. and do i spy the DELTA CONIC hull design? how about some interior pics when you get a chance. i love how you went from one trojan to another. as someone on here said,.......PRICELESS........ speaking of trojan hopping........IF, brad and i up grade to a bigger boat, this is one of the trojan designs that i really love..... http://www.yachtworld.com/boats/1983/Tr ... lGIOfmrSwc
when she came out in the 1980's she was advertised as a 'duel mode hull design.' efficient and stable at trawler or planing speed. and it has a ton of room. who knows. me downsize too. i actually would not mind an international design. love the ride. and the big back deck.

Re: NEW BOAT PURCHASE
I don't know if they are called fins, the three horizontal pieces integrated into the hull where the air vents are. We go to Stamford a few runs(crab shell).

Re: NEW BOAT PURCHASE
Thank you everyone for your comments etc!
To answer everyone's questions and comments! Yes I did purchase the boat, sight unseen.. I was given 200+ photos and it came back with an EXTREMELY CLEAN survey! It was conditional on a sea trial, which happened yesterday... Here's the video, taken in Manatee Bay which is in Key Largo, FL. The Detroit 6-71 Diesels definitely do not lack in the power department, that's for damn sure!

It was super exciting to get it out on the water in perfect 90 degree weather!
Here's a few more pictures of her and the interior;
