I think I would ask enough so that you could have the boat detailed locally and not have to deal with them any longer. By the way, congratulations and best of luck.

Check around on the price on detailing and go with that . At least you have fresh bottom paint , and you will get use to the blue . Only took 10 years for me lol . I have been wanting to change the color of my boot stripe for years from black to a green . Hauled out and forgot about it until the frist coat of BLUE bottom paint went on

. Black boot stripe it is .... still

That being said, I must say that my new (starting 3rd yr) marina has been very accommodating, service good. Prior to that, I'd been sixteen years at the same place before changing marinas due to the kind of insanity, that only boats and boating appear to generate.

Yep. Sold last month. Going to take a year off from boating and go camping, lol.

Well folks, the 10 meter has made her way home! We took the trek from Cayuga Lake to Oneida this weekend. We ended up having to spend the night on her (7 hour cruise) because we didnt make the last lock in time. I cant remember the last time i slept so well!
I caved a little with the Marina. I accepted a couple hundred dollars in fuel in exchange for their shenanigans. The reality is that they probably would have disappointed me with their cleaning of her anyway and I just wanted to be done with them.
Here she sits at her home! Well sort of...she's at a marina down the river until i can get out and do some dock repairs to her actual home. Thanks for all the great advice guys! I truly appreciate it!

it would be nice to see a new thread with your review and comparison of the attributes and sea keeping abilities of both vessels.
If you can put on a really big show, along with some detailed pix, do write up and send it to me first. I would be happy to run it at the INTERNATIONAL website,
www.trojanboat.com
Once it's up on the INTERNATIONAL website, you could start a new thread here on this forum and include a link.

That may take some time! I am willing, however I would need a few weeks of usage before I were to consider writing anything. Taking her home in the canal hardly counts! I'll report back to you sir!
