I'm not sure what "banter" is turning you off, but I know some of the guys like to tease and get on each others case. Don't take life too seriously. If something bothers you, skip that thread.

Most of us enjoy busting on each other, but when some ask a question you'll get our answers as best as we can give, but please don't ask any about mushroom anchors in a river  O and welcome to the site if you come back....

Banter doesnt bother me

Post by sgtcerberus »

I can take that just the off handed snipes the bother me. Spent multiple tours in USMC skin is tough just want folks to realize we are all in this mess called life. Back when I was a young man my parents didnt like me growing my hair long but in those days that was how we expressed ourselve. (to think of it I wish I could have hair today.)

But like I said I am learning and enjoying the site. I purchased my first boat which is a F30 Clean Machine from what I have learned "from this forum".

I live in Richmond and the boat is slip in Maryland off the Potomac. I will spend the off season ripping out and replacing carpet, re doing the seats, having the aft deck redone and generally trying to be presentable when I meet you folks in person.

I took the day today just to do some cleaning and minor work on her. I am going to I guess start the deck in Feb. no need to put it on now without being able to enjoy it.

So what happens on these gatherings? Eat, Drink and be merry? Share war stories and such. Or is there like a learning from the ole hands what to look our for with the boats? What gives. I hope that I can make the next one I will sure make every effort to.

"Eat, Drink and be merry? Share war stories and such " that covers it

Make new Friends and visit with old ones ,share info on Trojan boats etc , And of course we solve some of the world problems .

And the ones from the farthest away normally get there first , I believe Wes and Tony will back me up on that .( and wonder if closest ones will show)
