Paul you should've use 4000 that's the right one for the application you Harry the boat owner types kill me. :lol:

4000 is used when you see it . 5200 was the right stuff for the job .

Cotton. That's a cheap waterman's way. :lol: Dig D I had a Chief in the Navy that did that to me when I was 17 . It took a week for me to chalk that boat. And who said I was nice. They lie. :lol: :lol:

It held up just fine :lol: :lol: :lol: but the yellowing is unsightly :lol: And as for that lost art I've used it up at my marnia a time or to helping the waterman and I've showed the kids the work there how. But I'll never ever will own a wood hull boat it just to much work . But I'm glad guys out there have them they're by far a better looking boat than glass. My dream boat would be steel hull with a aluminum superstructure.
