I was just trying to get Paul to give me some more grief for pinging a 4-year old thread......

I hate those neither here nor there batteries too, which is why I went with larger purely deep cycle for both starting batteries and always parallel them when I start. Reduced current draw when starting, yet lots of support for house loads when swinging on the hook. I went old school on the generator battery though.
