Todd I don't think anyone said you said any Trojan was built by Bertram . If you took it that way sorry .

A pet peeve with me is all these Ads by clueless brokers . saying Trojan built by Bertram , even on a old one like mine . or Bertram built hulls for Trojan .
Trojan can stand on its own name , and Trojan ( or carver ) never built a boat the the sides peeled off under way like Bert .

The 10.8 ,rumors has it was designed as a improvement over the delta hull and maybe so Trojan cold stop paying royalties on that hull .

Some are clueless, but more are manipulative and hoping that the buyer is "less informed"... ('clueless', in politically correct-speak). Education is your best defense.

Prowlerfish,
All is good...no hard feelings. Happy to have knowledgeable people on a good forum, even with some disagreements. Passion for our boats is a good thing. And you are right that the 10.8 was not made by Carver....thx.

The bottom line is my boat is great, Todds boat is great, Pauls boat is great. None of us own a Bertram. They are all Trojans. Whittaker Trojans, Carver Trojans, Trojan birth control, it doesn't matter. Fact is all of us did well enough not to purchase a Bayliner or similar.
