Skargo , Thats what I use 1 year per coat is the norm with ablative .Of course it varys with the area and how you use the boat .

not sure if i saw posted anywhere. but how many gallons to do a 30 footer? will be starting on mine in a couple weeks. and how much sanding do i need to do? i was told when im done sanding im gonna look like papa smurf....

1 gal should give you 1 coat .

can do mine 1 gallon 1 coat, you should be fine just don't waste any..

if you don't have to much on her just powerwash and scuff with 40 or 60 grit on a 6" sander

its clean of barnicels and algee. it was pressure washed by the marina at haul out. This will be my first time doing a bottom paint. fun fun...

One gallon is enough for the 30 footer.
Due 2 coats on your sides and stern and bow as u see that part.
And remember don't paint your transducers!
