The HF hydraulic crimper is a wonderful tool to have. It works perfectly.

It has been my experience that crimping not done right is a spot where current will cause high amps and heat due to poor connection. For example the inexpensive wire stripper/crimpers do not, repeat do not put a quality crimp for any use. One needs a crimper that actually stakes the crimp. not just a squeeze. Needs to squeeze and stake the crimp or toss the tool.
