went and checked on mine thursday in the SNOW and RAIN! too cold for october! parked right next to my boat was 3 boats that burned to the water line. one blew up (28 foot) and managed to burn up the two right next to it. both of them were chris crafts 36 footers. it was a very ugly sight.

they don't know what caused it but, that is the second boat that has blown up at the dock this year. it seems kinda fishy. a friend of mine said when the boat blew people felt it five block away. wonder what his insurance company has to say?

i haven't heard anything yet. the one that blew earlier this year was a short in the bilge pump that ignited fumes. i think i'm gonna invest in one of them fume detectors, i always run my fans before starting and about once an hour while trolling but the thought never crosses my mind after i shut down at the dock!
