I would put it on the swim platform, I had horizontal style...
NOTE because of the length of my combo I was limited to port side docking.

Ready, You have a great looking boat. I can only dock on my stbd side when carrying the dink, as it sticks out also.

My question for you is your boot stripe. Mine are much closer to the water. Have you or your po moved them higher up the hull?

Not nearly as much of a feno as you guys, but my dinghy mount was a bit of a job.

I don't think so... most f32's and tricabins around here look the same.... though mine is lacking the additional thin gold stripe that I believe was original.

Yes, I found a pair last year online for a song. Then I fabricated aluminum plate brackets to attach to the top and bottom of the swim platform to help spread the load uniformly.

Did the same thing on my telescoping ladder- a four rung one that goes far enuff in the water for non gymnasts to use!

And this...

Sits flat in the water still connected to the swim platform....Easy to board/load the dink this way - fire up the outboard, quick disconnect.

Your welcome foofer b...

ready123 is definately the way to go in the Georgian Bay boating world...hard bottom Walker Bay & cradle on the swim platform with the outboard still affixed...

we spend 90% of our time on sandy bottoms and shores in Erie...which means alot of time spent on the platform and in the water.

So the set up we use is to our benefit.

Thanks ready...it makes a great "back porch"...

Nice vid...
have a couple of vids of ours surfing along too, but the photo account don't support my particular video files.

For any who might get the chance to boat in Canada's (ready's) Georgian Bay....it is an absolute boaters dream! We spent a week up there this past August with our Trojan, and it truly is another world.
