Mikadoo,
I'm a marine business owner, and familiar with web-site bashing, so I'll make an offer.
I'm getting ready to haul and bottom paint my F32. Send me a couple of gallons of your Zyrex (with any special instructions on application), and I'll have the apply it and post pictures/data before and after (including long term status).
You can use the pix and data on your site - and we can have independent test done. For the record, I'm running 27knots when I have a clean bottom.
If you're not interested, I understand. I get many people wanting free gear from me to advertise. But I think me (or someone else) doing an independent test would be a big plus for you (and me, if I pick up speed on my twin-diesel F32!).
If nothing else, you can even use it as an excuse to get out of Illinois and come to Charleston, SC for some 75 deg weather.

Ross your lookin for free paint

on 2nd thought I'll make you the same deal on my 3607 Carver with 454' s and its in the water 11 months at a time. And my marina has the Ocean Alexander dealer in it for the east coast , could get you in big time. So ready to put up ?

Not really looking for free paint ( I get it wholesale).
I empathize with having a new product bashed online by people who haven't even seen it, so I can help the guy out if he really believes in his product. I take the risk that the product is worthless and have to haul and repaint ...
I live on brackish tidal water - lots of water flow - we have weeds and barnacle like you wouldn't believe. I'm in the water 12 months of the year. Plenty of boat dealers here - so its a good mix.
Anyway - just an offer.
In t-Shirt and shorts - going fishing ...

Rossjo It can't be new if his claims are true . ( lasts 10 years ) and he was the only dealer in 2002 , per his reference
I would make the same offer IF he would put up a bond / or escrow account to cover the cost of removing it ( and re-coating )if it fails to work on keeping off the growth after a few years , If it works I would be glad to pay . I have gotten 3 years on a bottom job using ablative paint (3 coats) cleaning the running gear of course ( before the zinc coat)
The risk is high becuse you have to remove some gel coat to put it on and it its so slick I don't think you could paint over it with out come plete removal ( and re gel coating ? )
I would love to see 5 more knots cruise , 27 knot cruse sweet

Before jumping the Gun you need to read more on it , like what it takes to put on and remove fine if it works but if not you may have a issue . Not a simple paint over
Removal and re coating ??? after the claimed 10 years what then ? just re coat ?

I'm with ya on the good and bad thoughts. I have some marketing experience, and sometimes all it takes is putting the bug in someone's ear and the word spreads. Heck, we're all talking about it. If only one person acts on it then a few minutes of typing would have made it all worth while for the distributor whether the product is good or not right?

True and if its half as good as it claims I wish him well , as we need a prouduct like that . . but if it was don't you think some on else would jump on it .

Ross. It's a joke. I know you get your paint wholesale. And this stuff isn't new. It's been around awhile. And if it was the next best thing by now you'd see it marketed with a big time name on it.

Well, let's see what he says. I made the offer, so I'll stand by it.
I won't remove any GelCoat however. That's a little ridiculous.
NO fish today - fished hard all day for nada. But 75, so what the heck!?

We don't look at boat chat sites to often so didn't find your proposal until today. What is the length and width of your boat, please respond to the e-mail at our web site. We are considering your offer!
