Bless me, Father Trojan, for I have sinned. Bought a Sea Ray 175 Sport to bip around in next year & dock queen the Trojan more. Here it is in the water:

Had a real bad experience on the tri-cabin 2 weekends ago (had already decided on the go-fast, so this story has no bearing on the Sea Ray). Had annual training at Camp Perry, our NG post on Lake Erie just west of Port Clinton. Made arrangements to stay at the Port Clinton Yacht Club & took the Di Anne Marie over on Sat am. After duty hours, took a bunch of soldiers over to Put-In-Bay. Arriving at the club, discovered the starboard vee-berth window was smashed. The piling my bow line was lashed to gave way. When the Jet Express ferry boat passed, its wash must have pushed the boat onto the dock. There are capped pipes sticking up from the front edge of the dock about 8", and sure enough one of them ran through my window. Decided to take the troops out in spite of it. Run over uneventful, but pulling out got a half mile away & smoke started pouring out of the aft cabin. Blew the port engine. Limped back to Port Clinton on the starbord engine. Ran the boat back to Sandusky Monday evening with the help of a private from Missouri. Steering chain kept slipping a tooth, but at speed was still able to turn to starboard. Got into the marina, went to make my turn to starboard, now at low speed, & it was a no-go. Wind caught me & started pushing me sideways down my channel. Couldn't get out of the situation with only the starboard engine running & no steering/no manuevering room. Tickled the velvet drive forward & reverse to keep off of boats. Threw a line from my sarboard stern cleat to a dockmate. He lashed it around a piling. I gave her the gas in forward & swung nice as you please right into my berth.
My mother & sister-in-law are here since Saturday (engagement party for our daughter). Mother-in-law still in a neck brace, so they & the wife & I have been staying at the house. I can't stand not sleeping on the boat & will probably do so tonight. I'm really going to be bummed when we have to pull it out at the end of the month!!!

So what is the new on the pennants
So what is new on the pennants Rickalan35? Hope you did not have any health issues like Jimini did. Let us know the status. Might have to start a new thread and find someone willing to make this a reality.
