Well after waiting out the winds and rains, we finally were able to shove off early Sunday to meet up 30 some miles down river with Paul, Tony and their wives...and cute little dogs. I brought down two other boats, my brother's 32 and my good friend Chris' 36.

All in all ,a great day, weather was perfect and company even better! Below are some random shots. I have more and will post when I upload from camera next day or so...these all are from my phone.

Paul and Tony stayed Sunday night and should be headed home as I post this. Paul took a lot of pics and I'm sure he'll post when he gets a chance.

Here we are, Saturday heading back to the barn. River was just too rough with the winds for a enjoyable ride.

Waiting for the winds to die down, enjoying good company at the dock...

Sunday morning, finally a very nice day coming through!

Enjoying a quick vitamin drink for breakfast...

Once we got there, we ate a great brunch at the Restaurant. I think Paul was mumbling something about how good the food was, between bites...afterwards, we all relaxed pool side in the porche, trying to cool off from the heat.

We later said our fairwells, and headed back up river to home port. This was one great day! Thanks to Paul, Tony and their families to come all the way to meet up. Sorry I missed Will but am sure we'll meet again.

As I neared home, I took a quick video from my cell. Not the best and my first time videoing.

If I can say so a GOOD TIME was had by all ! Port Kinsale should be on everyone's list to stop at if you're in the area. They supported us to the up most from needing parts and some real good food and wonderful sights. If the weather had not sucked Saturday it would have been perfect. ( my mishaps always happen to at least one boat it was just my turn ) I hope we all can learn from them.

1) have spare gas pump.
2) have spare carb filter.
3) have spare carb. didn't need one but I'm getting one if you need one and you're in B.F.E. it'll take a min. of 4 or 5 days to get it by FEDEX GROUND naturally
4) Have a FRIEND in the slip next to you who cares ! that alone is worth a 1,000,000.00 !
THANKS PAUL ! ( searay moment over )

hey I got 1.1 nm to 1 gallon of corn gas with and average speed of 14 knots on the trip that's not bad for 2 340 hp 454's with 1100 hrs. on them pushing that bath tub and all that storage around. (23,000 lbs) And give the chop and swell size on the way back. :)
