So I have all the manuals for my boat (courtesy o all you fine folk,) but for the life of me I can't find any documentation on the heat exchanger other than its part number.
I'm trying to replace the zinc anode and unfortunately, the old one was so far gone it practically shattered when I screwed it out (yes, the plug too.)
Trying to order a rep but can't find a crusader part # to match the equivalent for the life of me.
Trojan tri-cabin 36 with crusader 270's
Here's the site I'm trying to order from:

Any help is super appreciated- thanks!

Awesome, thanks!
Also, slightly related note, where does one fill the coolant on these puppies? Some genius decided the floor beams for the engine room should go right over the heat exchanger cap. I have a hard time believing that the previous owner just "winged it" with filling it there but I've been more wrong before.

Re: Zinc topic!
There is no secret to the average marine heat exchanger. Fill it up and close the cap. There is an overflow built in... or let me rephrase that... there should be an overflow built in that will dump excess coolant if too full. Also some boats have an overflow tank for the coolant.

As stated fill through the cap , the beam should be removable , at least the ones I have seen .

I made a hatch. In fact I made a lot of hatches...
And what type of water are you in? Zinc is for saltwater.

I needed a less expensive hobby, so I bought a boat!
