I removed the stairs to get power coated and the panel it's mounted to is rotten and the bolts broke too. Anyone ever tackle this? I tried searching for boarding stairs but maybe they go by a different name?

Looks like the plywood just needs to be removed as replace and re glassed ( sounds simple lol but it is some work )

Final results. Removed stairs from cover, had cover repaired and new studs welded on metal bar, repaired leak in cover and had painted white. Sent out steps for new powder coating along with hinge and that angle iron piece mounted behind steps. Just need to find some stick on treads and here is another project done.
