Dinghy Roller Mount - Design Build

Wanted a simple easy way to load the tender & outboard up onto my swim platform...
Made this set-up, and it works great. Just pull it up with the dinghy's bow handle and tether it.
The Admiral can even pull it aboard, and launch it with relative ease.
Combined weight of the dinghy (123 lbs), 20 hp Suzuki (97 lbs), fuel & gear (45 lbs)....Total 265 lbs
Considering Wifey and I weigh a combined weight of 335 lbs (noticed how I approached that?

)...and we basically live on the swim platform as do our friends & family when out in the bay...the placement of the tender unit there is mute with regards to structural capability.
Additionally the dinghy has a parking spot out of the water for the summer at the marina berth.
Lastly it has no noticeable affect on the Trojan with regards to getting on plane, maneuvering or handling.
Very happy with the result...

Oh, and they are removable too...
Each of the two mounts have two pull pins. Pull the pins toss the mounts under the rear bench, no stubbing toes!

Very nice job!
We are looking at options to mount our 11 1/2' inflatable and not seeing much we like. Any chance you can post a photo of the mounts without the dinghy in place? I have been thinking about fabricating something myself to get a good solution.

You bet...not looking to patent it, lol.
Will try to get some pics of them this weekend and post them.

Nice job. I made a set of dinghy chocks/roller system for my swim deck a few years ago on my F32 and have been very happy with the results. It is nice to be able to easy load and unload no matter where you are.

Absolutely impressed with this RIB....have had many compliments on the water with it.
Into the second season with it and have nothing negative to say about it.
