Trojan Boat Forum

Last week we were ask if we still had the Triangle I bolts for that Trojan used to install the the fuel and water tanks.

We still have them. They are in the Trojan Store under F Boat parts/ Hardware. $5.00 each or call us.

While looking for Triangle I Bolts we came across the installation instructions the galvanized tanks.

The diagrams below may be helpful for anyone installing new aluminum tanks or plastic tank.

Note you can not attach brass fitting on a aluminum tank. A stainless steel fitting must be used between a brass fitting and a aluminum tank.

Asphalt tape is not recommend for aluminum or plastic. Use rubber instead of asphalt tape with aluminum tank or plastic tank.

The also hold down the water heater in our 12m International Sedan.

Bob, I really appreciate the extra effort you are taking to bring technical information from Facebook discussions over to this forum! It is so much easier to find information here rather than digging through Facebook looking for something you think you saw a year ago.
