Great Lakes Weather Buoys

I just discovered this, but maybe a lot of you guys know about it.

If you text 734-201-0750
and send the 5 digit number of the weather buoy you want,
the buoy immediately texts you the weather at its location including wind, gusts and waves.

For example, 45012 is the buoy mid Lake Ontario between Brighton ON and Rochester NY.

glbuoys.glos.us

Are these US or Canadian Buoys ? Looks like it maybe a mix
