$3.65 for gas would be a bargain here in MI. $3.89 at the pump or $4.49 at the marina for gas. Diesel $4.89 at the marina.

Fill up now. In six weeks it wil be 50 cents higher.

Not to make light of your gas prices in the US, in Ontario, Canada we have been paying $1.25/l or about $4.75/ usgal the past few months at the pump. I heard the marina is going to be $1.39/l or $5.28/usgal. That is a increase of about $0.35 over last year!! My F32 is approching almost $700 to fill up.

Going to be alot of hull speed trips this year

Northern CA, $3.95 at the pump and $4.50 on the water.....and that's regular. My 330hp 350's like premium but I have been using mid-grade with no apparent difference........think I'll spent alot of time at hull speed this summer.............

I wonder what the hull speed of my DOCK is? Ontario place was $1.35 per litre last year. I wont spend much time out on the water but the Floating condo will still get lots of use.

We picked a great time to take a month-long trip on the NY canals! Last year I planned out the trip at $4.50/gal gas just to be "safe". I've just updated the plan at $6.50/gal. I haven't told my wife that she's going to tow the boat, but I have been calling her "Sal" a lot lately - hoping she'll get the hint.....

Have you done any recalculations using mule power? How much is grain? Should be able to come up with a burn rate and dollars per mile estimate. Would be nice to know. I am thinking about doing a mule repower it the calculations work out. Just need a couple of long tow lines to cruise up and down the channel.

I've purchased something that will help reduce fuel consumption in my boat this year. It's called patio furniture.

Hat tipped to you Jeff, I also do care about the price of gas but it will not stop me from boating. I have waited and worked hard for many years to let some greedy oil mongers to take it away.
I have not said anything but I am also looking at a boat with twin 454s in her (ouch). I love my single engin but it is time to move into a twin.

I just bought a new 10M mid cabin express with twin 454s. I filled up yesterday at $4.50. 120 gal later, ouch

I just signed up for unlimited towing thru boatUS. My thought is to go out to the middle of the lake and call them for a tow back.

I just send my wife to pay, don't even want to see the gas prices at the marina. As long as she comes back without a steel pipe in her hand, I guess we're okay.
