While working on my fuel tank project, I discovered the the wood that holds the part with female threads where the rub rail bolt screw in was all dry rotted. Anyone tackle this project yet? Solutions?

Are you talking about the wood 'backing strip' on the inside of the deck to hull joint? Don't think I have pictures, but if I remember correctly bolts for the rub rail come in through the hull/deck joint and through the wood strip, then have nuts/washers or 'blind nuts' on the inside.
