I have a question about the starter on the Chrysler 400s is the rotation different on each side? I'm kinda in a bind since I left the starter on the boat and it's 600 miles away lol the Port engine starter went bad needs a new Bendix but would like to replace the starter instead of rebuild the problem is I have been told the rotation is different from Port engine and starboard I believe that is correct because they are mounted on different sides of each other both are mounted so when you walk between the engine's they are right there in other words opposite side of each engine I need to know if they spin in the same direction lol without having to travel 600 miles to find out thanks

1977 tricabin so do you mean the starter's have different rotation or the engine lol

Both not sure what side is what on the tri . V-drive right ?
