1974 30' Searaider 318's rotation question
I am in the process of purchasing rebuilt engines for my boat, but am slightly confused about what to order. I found a reverse rotation engine and am looking for a std rotation engine. The site describes them as either LH or RH rotation, not std and reverse. Is the reverse rotation engine the port engine? And is that considered RH? Thanks, I want to make sure I am not ordering two of the same engine.

Re: 1974 30' Searaider 318's rotation question
Left hand rotation( counter clockwise looking at the flywheel) is normally on the port side unless the boat has a 2 to 1 gear. And the right hand is on the starboard side unless with a 2 to 1 gear. The right hand is the reverse rotation.
