Switch for inverter/shore power

Greetings,
I bought a 10M Express. Generator was long gone. The panel has a 3 position switch- Shore Power (left) and Generator (right). The middle position is blank. I am using an all-in-one inverter/lithium power bank a with a 30amp out capable of providing house power. The low tech method of pluging the power station into the existing 30 amp inlet is a sure way to not cross shore and inverter power, but I prefer to wire a 30 amp recepticle at the helm for convenience.

My preference is for new 30amp inlet to work by switching to Generator at the panel. I didn't see any clues from a look beneath the helm for the wiring that once connected to the generator. Any direction on where to look is appreciated.
Thanks,
HT

Look in the engine compartment, but they could have removed the wiring also. Should not be hard to wire into the switch.

Thanks for the reply. I checked the engine room under the helm hoping to find where the genset was connected, but no dice. The few visible wires had routes of their own. Looks like it is time to remove the panel and start from that end. Hopefully I find them tucked away.

Trojan had a breaker between the generator and the pannel. Not a bad idea. I don't get why anyone would remove a generator. An inverter is nice but has major limitations.

What do you plan on running and how large of a battery bank?
