Every once in a while, I'd get email notices from them. In the form of SPAM! Site went down hill, if it's even still up...

Attached is my 2007 reply from John Hunter, the Chairman of the Board of the now defunct TBOA and it's website.

I was hoping to obtain an archive copy of the website postings, as these would be a very valuable "library" over time, especially due to the fact that we have an orphaned brand.

Too bad, they didn't survive.

TBOA has been gone for over two years
and so has the web site. So, no nothing has been saved. If i can help in any way, let me know.

John,

Any chance that the postings to the website have survived or been archived anywhere?

The Trojan Boat Owners Club (still alive to some extent) is a different site than the old TBOA (Trojan Boat Owners of America) Rest in Peace.

Sadly, when these sites die off, there is no library or archive of all the valuable information posted by the members.

Perhaps we have a member who has the ability to save the data should one of these active sites go down.

It would be a great cure for our illness, Orphan Brand Syndrome.

Old sites may not be lost--check the wayback machine:
http://www.archive.org/index.php
It tries to archive all websites.

Brett,

It's THERE !

trojanboatowners.com

Now, the question is how do we save it and where do we save it to for the purposes of preserving it?
