My 1990 10 meter international has white painted bow rails and windshield frame. I believe this was common for the international series during the mid to late 80s. The rails and frame are showing a little surface rust and I wanted to repaint them this off season.

I am unsure what type of metal they are created from let alone how to proceed with repainting. Any recommendations or additional resources are greatly appreciated? Thanks in advance for any advice.

They are powder coated rails. Powdered then shot with a clear coat finish

Any estimates on how long it would take to remove the bow railing?
