Hello fellow Trojan people. Its getting close to april which is when I will return to NY and my 1981- 308 trojan. The first question I need help with this year is; When I put her away for the season(winterized) I didnt take care of a problem, I was having. It seemed that when ever I started my port engin, rusty water would shoot out for a second through the exhaust into the sea water. It would then clear up and I would not see any rust until, she sat overnight and I started her again. My starboard engine didn't have this problem. Thanks in advance, if you have any thoughts on this.

ps I cant wait to get their and put (hoist) up my trojan penant. Its real nice. Thanks for that too guys....

It is most likely coming from your exhust manafolds/risers . some brands seem to do this about it and I would not worry about it

It's normal for a boat which has sat for a while...don't lose sleep over it. The more you run it, the less you'll see it.

Agreed - seems pretyy normal - unless run fairly regularly (every few days). Tat siad, it mght be good to look atthe metal elbows, and the clamps in your exhaust system. I have replaced all of my clamps with double, type 316 bolted-hose-clamps ...

Thanks, you guy's. Thats a relief, I was thinking it was going to be real bad. and now I won't stress about this issue over the next 2 months before I get to her.
