Will post some pictures when I get a chance.

Wanted to say hello and ask a few quick questions.

Where can I purchase the orginal clamshell and side vents.....wind puched me to the post on the starboard side an po had hand made fiberglass dupes that are now in splinters.....

Does anyone know of an honest and reliable Marine Electrician in the Metro NY/NJ who knows Trojans??? As I really need to have my 32 year old electrical system rebuilt before I go up in flames... :(

Welcome!

I have found the clam shells at the local marine stores. If the ones you speak of, are the rubber kind. But most outlets should have what you need.

Marine wiring is coded to ABYC standards, other than Trojan specific items, a good marine tech will be able to help you out.

Most everyone on board here is proficient on the various systems of Trojans, so ask away, someone can help and guide you.

Marine Tech for Trojan parts and info or Beacon Supply.

Good luck!

Welcome! Call John at Marine Tech. They sell original Trojan parts and you can order an original manual with wiring diagram for your F36. Good Luck Johns number is 717-684-4145. They have no web sight.

Welcome! :D
Always glad to see another F36 join the forum.

I saw the vent cover you smashed at West Marine model 106213; at least I think it's the one you are referring to. (Page 546 2008 catalog)

Welcome aboard, Hope you enjoy the forum as much as I do. Also, looking forward to hearing you input. I replaced a missing clam shell with stainless from West Marine. I think you can see it in the picture.
