I'm finally getting around to building a new flybridge instrument panel after my diesel repower winter before last. Any ideas or suggestions on the best sheet material to use ? I've been looking at waterproof sheet phenolic but I've not ordered it yet. I want something that will stand up to sun and rain, and not sag under the weight of the gauges. Thanks for all inputs.

You might want to try white 1/4" lexan. You can cut or router out each hole for a perfect fit. It will look good and should hold up to weather.

Cheap and easy lexan in any color. Make sure to get the special drill bit for the screw holes or it'll crack:
