Tilt up and lift . brackets could be bent so some cussing may be needed

I have to wiggle mine back and forth and it will slowly come out. Good luck. Stop my Herl's Harbor and I will show you.

Hold it up about 30 degrees and have someone else tap it up next to the hinge while pulling away from the hinge. It should pop out... then maybe all you need to do is clean the hinge parts and add a little zip lube for next time.

mine isnt hinged. it is self standing, it has two posts that support the table. the posts are approximately 3 or 4" in diameter

ive used a muffler bearing removal tool..lol those things can suck big time...im not suggesting this but what i have done is drill a hole thru the pipe and insert a big philips screwdriver and tap it around while soaking it with pb blaster

OK... twist them using an oil filter chain wrench to loosen the seize.... then you should be able to pull them out.

If all else fails, you should be able to remove the screws that hold the table to the posts. You can then work on the posts separately. You should be able to wiggle them out with a little penetrating oil.

removing the bases from the table first was my next move. I'll shoot them with some spray lube and hope they work there way loose

I had trouble getting mine out too. I had to unscrew the base, soak it with penetrating oil and then used a block of wood and a hammer to get it apart. Good luck.

It sounds like the table has never been removed. I removed the table and bases on my '76 F28 and love the added room. We use a small fold up table that we use inside and out. The only down side is that you lose the extra sleeping area if you remove it from the boat. But it sounds like it was never used as the double bed anyway.

our plan for the salon is to eventually remove the table and L shaped seating around the dinette. we want to put a pull out couch there. but were having problems finding the right size.
