new to forum, new [to me} boat, 1985 F36.
I have been told, trojan had three hull colors in 85'-white & two shades of "yellow"? my boat is an off white /vanilla? anybody having any knowledge of original colors or how to match for some touch up would be greatly appreceated.
thanks,
steve

Touching up colors is tough. Even if you had a can of the original color it wouldn't match. Over time, sun fads colors. One side of the boat might not match the other.
To match the color, you will have to tint it using coloring agent. If you are trying to match gelcoat tint some without the hardener and put a dab next to where you are making the repair. Adjust the color until it matches. Make sure you have enough tinted to make the repair. Be very careful with the color agent, a little goes a long way, and you can add more, but you can't take it out.

Although this post is almost 30 days old, I came across the site I was looking for. I had ordered a sample a while back from these guys and were impressed. So if anyone needs the info on color matching for the Trojans, here is the link. They have the off-white.
