Aft Starboard Rain Awning installation F32

Well last week we installed the awning on the aft end of the flybridge to protect the salon on those hot July/August days from rain splashing up from the aft deck into the open sliding door. Had light rain on Sunday to test it, which I had not requested.

Is a simple design of 1/4" Starboard supported by SS tubing bent to suit (using tree in backyard) and curved to match slope of bridge. The screws to hold Starboard to SS tube have oversized holes to allow for expansion of the board.
I think it looks sharp.... but then I am biased.
