Installed a dual tank monitor yesterday - Sensa Tank II. Took about 4 hours cause I'm slow, fat, old and stupid (hey I own an old Trojan so go figure....)but the result is I now can monitor the fresh water and holding tank levels from the control panel without having to sweat out if the holding tank is full. We do a lot of long weekends and longer overnights so this addition will be great for peace of mind. I did a lot of research and the sensa tank came out best. There is a report done a couple of years ago by sailnet on 4 different types - all use exterior sensors. The only downside is making like a contortionist when installing the sensors and routing the wiring in the confined "engine room" of the F-26.

I'm sorry ... but I just couldn't help post the toilet paper on my boat. It seems to make the macerator run smoother:

I love it JC! Nothing better than to see him go down the chute...
But we won't get into politics though...

Good stuff on the TP.
My SensaTank unit works very well and you are right, it gives you advance notice of when you need to pump out and peace of mind. The indicator light on our unit is mounted in the forward head so it is very noticeable.

That is too funny. Gives new meaning to "healthcare" ! I just ordered some for my Dad's 80th birthday.
My holding tank is translucent so I can easily see the mud level. Usually though I just pump it out right before I get back to the dock.
