f-26 hull top speed

hi i bought myself a trojan f-26 rigged for dual outboards with the transome already installed. i want to know what is th ehull ,ax speed and what knots can i expect if i put back twin 250hp the previous owner had on or my next option is twin 140hp
anu sugestions.
this is sort of a restoration project but i dont really have too much work to go.
but i need to repower..
any suggections are welcomed.

An F-26 rigged for dual outboards? Is the original inboard engine still there? Sounds verrrrrrrrry interesting to me.
Anyhoo, I will take a wild ass guess and say max hull speed on these babies is probably 30 mph. But that would be based on inboard configuration where the weight and drivetrain are centered forward of the transom. With the weight/drivetrain on the transom that will pull the bow up more under power, and....now my head is gonna explode.....too many variables....help me, I'm melting!!

I saw one online with twin outboards and the owner claimed 50 mph. Don't recall the hp but I thought it was 150.

Didn't they make a center console version with outboards? I can reach just over 31knots WOT, but it's not very stable at that speed

the previous owner had twin 250's
i dont have engines in it right no but ill take the pics of the transome, etc
they took out the center engine.
