Hello,
My name is Larry and I'm new to this forum. I just bought a 1980 F25 Trojan about 3 weeks ago. To say I love it would be an under statement.
Having been retired about 6 years, my son and I got a pontoon boat about 2 yrs ago and my love for the water all came back to me I've had for many years. I've always wanted a cabin cruiser and decided to go on my own to buy a boat. When I saw the Trojan, her lines and layout, it was a dream come true for me.
I have already benefited from this site after reading all the post. A fellow member, Randy was kind enough to send parts of a manual. I have been getting "Ms Glory" cleaned up, putting a lot of TLC into her. The boat is a one owner, which I find amazing.
I'm sure I will have questions later, but for now, just wanted to say Hi!
Larry

gotta tell ya...i've learned a LOT and gotten a LOT LOT LOT of help/advice/and more from these guys. even met one and other than the fact that he pops in and steals my cheetos while i'm sleeping...is a great boat-pal (hi g3.)
glad to have ya around. feel free to ask anything, because i'm sure you'll find what you need right here.

welcome aboard larry. it's a great site and a trojan is a true classic.
my dad owned an f-36 tri cabin from 1972 until march of 2008, so you will find there are a lot of one owner types around. sometimes it takes a little effort, but once these fine ladies get someone that wants to take care of them, they shine up like new pennies. in the few short months i've owned my f-32, i love when other slip holders walk by and say that in the 10 years that boat was under previous ownership, under my care she has never looked better. that makes me feel good for all the hours it is taking me to redo the exterior teak, but man, does it look good.
again, welcome aboard.
THANKS FOR WELCOME

Hi all,
Just want to give a big thanks for such a warm welcome. From all the posts I've read, I thought you were a great bunch of people here. Well now I know it. Thank you all very much!
I live in TN. and the boat is at present at Four Corners marina on the Percy Priest Lake. I live just outside of Smyrna near the lake. I am hoping to rent a slip at Fate Sanders Marina which is just two miles from the house, Four Corners is twelve miles from the house
I'm working on the boat at present, so will have questions real soon, and will try and post pic's in the coming days.
Thanks again.
Larry
