I really have and will have lots of questions as this project progresses. Thanks for your help, be patient with me. I am trying to remove the shafts to have them checked for true. I cannot get the connecting hub ( I'm sure it has a proper name) off. I got the lock bolts out, got the key out of the shaft, but now I'm stuck. I have used a small puller but they seem to be stuck. My next thought would be to heat them and maybe the expansion would free them. Help! C. Don

I am doing a complete restoration here and it might sound extreme but I have the engines and generator out olready and will be repainting the engine room before going back. Just wanted everything out of the way to clean and paint. I have never run the boat and bought it as a project. Maybe this step is a little extreme. I would like to know how to remove them if I did need to some day. Don

Try a bigger puller make sure you don't bend the flange on the shaft Coupling , if you have the engines out the can come out that way .
They do make a puller just for that BTW
