Windshield Leaks

It rained last night so I spent some time finding all the leaks, and wala nothing that I re did showed a single drop.....Which was pretty neat not to have leaky hatches :D

But what I did not touch leaked, and leaked, and leaked.

I have my headliner removed so I can get to all the bolts holding the windshield frame to the deck, but most all of them are leaking and the ones I could tighten down stopped leaking but over half of them spin inside the window frame so I cannot tighten them. I assume the window frame is some kind of channel that a bolt head slides into to keep it from turning, but thats a guess.

Has anyone had this problem (either the leak, or the bolt spinning)? Ant what is the fix?

One comment if you have tightened the bolts make sure you loosen the frame clamps on the window glass to allow the frame to move away from the glass then reclamp the glass. Why? First heavy sea I ran into my glass cracked from top to bottom where I had tightened a leaky bolt... I concluded I had put the glass into tension by stretching it.
What I did subsequently was to seal the bottom of the frame along the outside edge.
I still have leaking (small) around the glass within the frame and plan to remove the glass panels and reseat in fresh butyl tape this winter (when I replace the cracked panel).
I had considered the idea of loosening the bolts and prying the frame up to put new butyl under them... since that would require me to get at those down the side too and fight against the bridge weight I decided not to try that. Pity you did not try that when you had the bridge off.
