I am ordering a new prop shaft for my 1976 f26. Does anyone know the length of that shaft? I would like to order before taking out the old.

I would check with Beacon Marine, I'm sure that they would know.

1 in dia x 52-3/4 in. long. Tapered at the prop end.

I just measured the original shaft that I replaced on my (former) 1975-F-26.

My dad's motto is: "If it doesn't stink, don't throw it out."

Since I recently sold the boat, now I have a somewhat pitted stainless pry-bar.
