looking at '86 10m out of the water

Hi, first post here hope to have many more....
My random thoughts, hoping for some feedback.
I'm looking at an '86, 33' mid cabin express. The boat has been out of the water all season and I've done my initial inspection. I will get it surveyed if I move forward.
It's in decent shape but definitely needs some attention. Hours are 470 on the original 454's. Engines were upgraded to electronic ignition. I was told they do not burn any oil. It's missing the on board generator and halon system. Cabin smells musty but is in decent shape. The owner complained of leakage around the deck skylights which might explain the musty smell. I know the port hole windows are known to leak as well.
Some surface stress cracks and one actual impact (high above the waterline) will need to be repaired. There were no soft spots in my walk around, felt very solid.
Lots of detailing, switch replacement, wiring clean-up none of which scares me. Post survey, there could be a list a mile long. I guess my initial though is if the hull is sound and the engines are good, I'm off to a solid start.
Outside cushions (helm and passenger side) would need to be redone. Any ballpark costs on getting that done?
Props and shaft bushings done last year. Holding tank replaced. Bottom was repainted and could use some touch-up but probably doesn't need to be done for another year.
Instrument panel is tired looking and will need some work.
I'm extremely handy with cars and I'm sure a lot of that knowledge and tools will port over to a boat. I'm hoping you guys can weigh in with some feedback on this particular model.
I can probably get the boat for under $20k.
