We left at 9:37 am and got to Herrington harbour at 3:30 pm ,a cross the bay from St mikes then ran about 28 miles to St Mikes the next day. We were going to run half way but the next day was going to be choppy so met up with some frends atr herrington harbour south. ( had just left St mikes headed back to hampton)

Paul, Were they talking about next year. Is it going to be Solomons island. That is what I heard

. That would be a little closer for you guys. I may come down there a rent a hotel with the whole family if the marina has a pool. Were going to be on a restricted boat gas budget. Wife is in nursing clinicals. School is not bad but having a sitter sometimes is sucking down the fuel tanks

If you know what I mean. I willing to sacrafice for know, she doesnt know it yet but her 1st year of employment is going to be working for a yanmar repower
Not true but that is what I keep telling myself.

He said something about the Solomons island , but last few years the had it at Rock hall and many people griped about St. Mikes being to far , so I would think that maybe a proplem as Solomons island is a lot farther away for every one (but Me) .
Btw give her 2 years to pay for the Yanmars
How far did you run ?

Our run was around 58-65 miles one way. I need to go over the chart better. It took us almost 4 hours to get there and 3 and half to go back north. We burned a total of 123 gallons. We avg 16 kts going there and had a more favorable seas going home. We were in the high 18-19 plus kts going home. It appears ken & Silva are not part of this trojan web page?

I would defiantly do Solomons via boat and there are a lot more marinas to choose from Spring Cove, Town Center and Calvert to name a few.

My vote would be Solomons as well...
Unless we want to have a couple during the season.

I would host a Potomac rendezvous, as there are countless Trojans from the bay on-up to DC, that would participate!
