Fish, cruise the boat, talk about fishing, talk about springtime fishing, gripe about the cold from time to time...did I mention anything about fishing?
Seriously though, some of the nicest cruises are on a clear crisp winter day.

Great project Will.
I am a HAM radio operator and do most of my HAM radioing in the winter. Hate to be indoors when its nice out so save the radio hobby until winter. Keep an HF unit on the boat. Marine radio is line of sight and when I am in the middle of one of the great lakes 30 or so miles off-shore it is very comforting to know my radio reaches thousands.

I instruct the CPS (sister to USPS) Boating course from September thru April. Our Squadron does two, 13 week courses each year. Amazing how fast they go. I am on night 6 of my first course already. Helps the time pass through our long northern winter.

i normally go to the boat and do a few projects here and there. she has electric heat onboard so it's not too bad. the nice thing about trojans is the interior wood is not bunged and can easily be removed for refinishing. phil and i are going to tidy up the interior a bit and get her ready for "possible sale" in the spring. maybe. every time i think about passing her on to another owner, i get a lump in my throat. we are actually looking at making a lateral move or maybe up a few feet. i'd love to find a well cared for, late model f-36 tri cabin.

When I put the shrink on the boat, I installed a 36'' storm door instead of a shrink door. I plan on being on it quite a bit trying to get interior work done.
I also have a couple of motorcycles and a old car that I like to tinker with and am also a HAM radio operator. And, of course, I try to go ice diving a couple of times a winter.
