Hi all, my name is Doug and have been here many times but this time decided to join. I've owned a F-26 and currently have a F-32. I loved that little 26 and should have never sold it. I have Owned the 32 for about 7 years and just brought her back to factory spec, new engines, paint and so on, or at least trying to. I would be happy to post photos of the whole project if anyone would like to see them.

Welcome aboard Doug and post away. Photos are always great and give all of us northerners who have our boats out of the water for the season something to do while we wait for spring.

Hey k9th,
I see you live in Michigan City. I've traveled to Chicago a few times over the years for trade shows and have always stopped in Michigan City for diner on the way. Looks like a nice place to live and has a beautiful view of the lake. I haven't been there in a few years but I do remember the restaurant, it was called Roadini's. I'm not sure if that's the correct spelling but the food and service was great.

Is the place still open?

Hi Paul - Yes Rodini's is still in Michigan City and just a few miles south of Washington Park Marina which is right on the lake and to the left when you are coming in the river. It is also where I keep SeaDog. Great place. Next time you come through give me a heads up and we would love to meet you.
I have been to Windsor many times when I lived in Port Austin, Michigan and kept our boat on Lake Huron. We moved to Ft. Wayne, IN a while ago and now keep her on Lake Michigan at Michigan City.

Hey Summer Storm, do you happen to fish, dive and/or take trips to the Bahamas? I would love to head over for a week or so with my better 2/3's for some f/d and r+r.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome! I will post some pictures of my little (read large) project very soon. foofer b, yes I do go the Bahamas (or used to) almost every month, Nassau, Freefort, and the Exumas. Won't be going any time soon though it seems that it will take another month or two before Summer Storm is finished, if I don't gut the interior now I feel I will never do it!

Welcome Summer Storm! Have looked at a few F32s but still love this little old F26. Perfect for us 2 with plenty of cockpit room for the the grandkiddies. You'll find a lot of great info on this forum.
