Hi, I have a '72 25ft Sea Raider Express. The only ID plate I could find has a hull # of 210-2026. This plate was found attached to the bulkhead in the enclosed head. The plate say, Trojan Yacht Corp., Lancaster, PA. I am trying to discern the date of manufacture., and any other information that this number can provide.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Do a search in this forum for "numbers" and you should find a previous conversation with details on this subject.

My hull number is on the stern on the starboard side and is just above the swim platform. According to other posts in the forum on similar subjects some hull numbers are same location but just below the rub rail. The last two digits are the year of manufacture.

Thanks for the feedback. I now know that my boat was manufactured prior to 1 Nov 1972 as the hull number is the wrong configuration for those after that date. I found 2 other posts from other Sea Raiders that indicate that mine was probably built early in the model year as the hull number is sequentially much earlier. I still do not have an exact date but I have learned a lot of Trojan Boat history. Thanks again!

If you are interested, Bob at Beacon Marine has all of the original Trojan boat manufacturing blueprint drawings for each individual boat - not just each model - but each and every boat manufactured. He told me that I was welcome to come and make copies if I wanted to. Being an engineer, I plan to do that soon.
