Teleflex control replacement - anyone done it?

My throttle and transmission controls are shot. Lots of play and no rebuild kits available.

I have "B 56 T" according to the manual I got with the boat. I'm hoping to re-use the existing cables. In all of the 80's pics I see of Trojans, it looks like these were used on several models.

Any suggestions? Anyone done this already?

I called Teleflex and they recommeded the CH4451 P, cables would be ok. I checked out a review on West Marine and a guy said one snapped in half on him. I guess they're made out of zinc.

I have seen controls break before , most of the time is due to a lose mounting or a frozen cable and peple force it and of course blame the control I replace my with the telflex CH5600P a real HD control but $$$$ and not the same style (would work )
most telflex stuff is good

I don't think you will have any issues with that control your looking at

I replaced the old (grey = Std 33C cables and red = 33C Supreme cables) cables on my F32 with Teleflex's top-of-the-line TFXtreme (Black) CC633xx cables:

1974 Trojan F32 with Twin Cummins 6BTAs (should be similar length for gas engines - perhaps 1 foot shorter on the lower to engine cable?):
> STBD upper to lower throttle cable - Teleflex TFXtreme 19' cable CC63319
> STBD lower to engine throttle cable - Teleflex TFXtreme 10' cable CC63310
> PORT upper to lower throttle cable - Teleflex TFXtreme 19' cable CC63319
> PORT lower to engine throttle cable - Teleflex TFXtreme 13' cable CC63313
